Callum Harrison (He/Him)
Callum Harrison is a photographic artist who experiments with film and camera-less photography to create his own abstract expressionist paintings, which are grounded in everyday objects and settings.
Their works derive from a search for the spiritual, the desire for something more, some magic lurking behind the curtain of everyday life. There is an attempt to elevate these physical, material objects into something more intangible. His style and aesthetic are evocative of Mark Rothko’s emotive scale, as well as eliciting the works of Josef Albers, László Moholy-Nagy.
