This image is part of a small series I shot from the same vantage point—standing outside this glowing window, watching life unfold on the other side of the glass. I was drawn to the contrast between the warmth and stillness inside and the blurred movement of passers-by outside. It’s a moment of intimacy in the middle of the city, like catching a fragment of someone else's story. Shot on expired Kwik Photo film, the grain and colour shifts add to the sense of memory—like something half-remembered or dreamt. I kept returning to this spot, waiting for the right mix of stillness and motion, of light and shadow. This version felt like the one where everything quietly aligned. Shot in Canary Wharf in London.
